Betty asked Joy Ellis:

I’m looking forward to binge-listening to your Jackman and Evans series. Richard Armitage has an incredible voice! My question: why does Audible recommend listening to Lost Daughters before The Murders Son? Usually I read a series in the publication order. What order do you advise?

Joy Ellis Hi Sac Richard does indeed have a wonderful voice and I'm very lucky to have him as a narrator. Now, long story about the reading order... as a relatively unknown author, I think Audible only intended to take one book as a trial. Their Lost Daughters is quite a 'strong' book and very visual, so they chose that one, but they did some brilliant advertising and along with the gorgeous Richard, it did very well and they accepted the whole series. The Murderer's Son is definitely the first in the series and introduces the characters, so go with that for Number One. I really hope that you enjoy them!
