Jodi Taylor Hi Mandy. Thanks for this. When I first started writing, I wanted to make it clear to the reader that this wasn't quite the world we'd known so I sat down and thought about the most unlikely things to happen. One - Britain leaving Europe and two - America closing its borders. I have been giving it some thought recently and possibly trying to weave it into a story, but we're all living in such precarious times at the moment that I'm unwilling to try to pin something down.
