Rebecca
Rebecca asked Shay Savage:

Hello! I have been following your stories for years and like that the HEA's are not all pretty rainbows and unicorns. You show real consequences and coping with the aftermath of the characters decisions. This can make some of your stories rather intense. My question for you is: "How much of this is designed or done with a purpose, and do you really have something against rainbows and unicorns?" :D

Shay Savage Definitely designed with the idea that life isn't rainbows and unicorns. Though it's a lovely fantasy, real people with real problems don't often overcome them 100%. They have scars. They don't heal completely, but they still have to deal with life and relationships. I wouldn't say I have anything *against* a fairytale ending, but you probably won't read too many from me. ;)
