So did Matt die or not? The prologue makes me think so in the "Now" when NEENA looked at the photo: "The alarmed look on the face of a man you had once loved, just before he dies. The sound of his begging that still echoes in the dark recesses of my mind." But the last CAT section seemed the opposite where he was going to see NEENA to let her win him back. How does that add up?

Especially since the last chapter was "One Year Later" where Neena is working in a shop and Matt is going to try to be with her again, YET the prologue takes place FOUR months before Neena and Cat meet. So when exactly did THAT scene (the NOW) take place? Head scratcher for sure. (less)
