Sr. Barker. Gracias.

Thank you for the kind words! I wrote the official prequel to DRACULA titled DRACUL with Bram Stoker's great grandnephew, Dacre Stoker. I also have a special edition of DRACULA where I wrote the introduction and added some bonus material.

If you ever want to take a road trip to Ames, IA, we would love to see you at Dog-Eared Books. We are an independent bookstore opening on March 2021. I'v been a HUGE fan ever since stumbling on to The Fourth Monkey. I am insisting our store owners carry your books, and I will be doing whatever I can to introduce the rest of the world to your talented work. Thanks for being awesome. Should we book your hotel?

J.D. Barker:
Obviously, you write great books on your own. Why write with another, albeit well-known, author? Is it just to sell more books? Genuinely perplexed by this, as his name is co-author on so many books. In the two I've read by two authors, I just try to figure who wrote which part (except for Swedish couple Lars Kepler).

Now that you are a genuine published author in your own right would you ever again be a book doctor for another's work? You see, I've been trying to write this book for years and I have this manuscript that needs a LOT of help and I was just wondering... (*Wink wink*). Seriously, I did not know there were book doctors. How did you get the job? How did they find you? Do you know of any others you could suggest?
