Mariia Manko asked Lauren Baratz-Logsted:

Lauren, when did you realize yourself as a writer? After writing first book, publishing , success or …? You know this feeling inside «I am truly a writer»

Lauren Baratz-Logsted When I was 12, I first got the idea that I had stories to tell that other people would want to hear, but it wasn't until 20 years later - when I was 32 - that I finally left my day job to take a chance on myself as a writer. After that, it took nearly eight years, with seven books written during that time, before I got my first publishing contract. Since then, I've had 40 books published. The great thing about writing is that no one can tell you that you can't do it. It doesn't mean you'll get published, but no one can ever make you stop writing. And if you do, maybe someday your publishing dreams will come true. Thanks for the question, Mariia! Good luck with your journey!
