I'm always working on two projects simultaneously. Stall on one, switch to the other. Sometimes I just start something completely new. Couple of weeks ago in a burst of energy, I hammered out a 6-page summary of a totally new novel in a couple of hours. Still not sure if it's brilliant or BS.
