This question is about the Torpedo Ink books coming out in December and January about Savage. What did you mean when you said that they would be stand alone? How will they stand alone from the series?
Christine Feehan
The books, Annihilation Road and Savage Road are still part of the Torpedo Ink series. But, they stand alone from one another. Meaning, you don’t have to read Savage Road in order to know who Savage ends up with. You get your Happy-Ever-After in Annihilation Road. Since Savage Road has some triggers for certain people I didn’t want anyone to feel they have to read it to get him love story. Savage Road does go deeper into Savage’s life and relationship so there’s more of an understanding about how he and Seychelle learn to deal with his issues. It does give more insight to Seychelle as well. But, you can still read one without the other.
Most of my books can be read out of sequence. I’ve always written that way. In that sense they are “stand alone”.

I just finished Dark Magic and it made me curious about something. It seems like 50 years or so pass between Dark Prince and Dark Magic so I was wondering what the actual timeline is? From the descriptions of things in Dark Prince I was guessing it was set in the 1970/80s but that would mean the rest are all in 2020 or later based on the approximate time between the 1st and 4th book.
