Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Caryl McAdoo DAUGHTERS OF THE HEART just released September 1, and the idea came from what I figured would be the natural response of obedient daughters who loved their father after seeing firsthand how their oldest sister broke his heart by eloping without Daddy's blessing in book four, SINS OF THE MOTHERS. As that story left off, the eldest sister still at home, eighteen year old Gwendolyn, is coming of the age to be courted, and leads the pact made between herself and younger sisters (Cecelia, seventeen, and Bonnie, twelve) never to break Daddy's heart through rebellion.
