Well, Rolf met a girl in their last adventure . . . you know how that goes. Bran probably needs to find another wizard so that they can happily read old books and make explosions together. Honestly, if I had more complete stories planned out for them, I would keep writing the series!
Also, Rolf has never hinted at not wanting to be the king. The Castle has declared him the heir, which leaves Celie free to travel, explore, attend university far away . . .
