I know Theresa betrayed Thomas to save him, but she wasn't as understanding about his feelings afterwards as much as she should've been. I know the world was basically ending for them and everyone else, but they could still have conveyed enough emotion without having to talk it out. But they didn't, and even if Theresa had survived, I don't think Thomas would ever have gotten over the trauma of her betrayal. Brenda is more considerate and thoughtful, and even though her world is falling apart too, she still shows her affection for Thomas, with or without words.(less)
