Michael Joseph Murano
Being a writer of fiction is like being in front of a Christmas tree every day: you never know what's under the tree but glimpse the wrapped present. When I write I seldom know in advance who I will meet or where I will be. I travel, moving in and out of places as vivid as the first chocolate ice-cream in a child's memory.
I get a sense of elation, exhilaration and well-being when I write, and for this, I am grateful.
