Hi Paula. I, like some other Russian-speaking readers, wondered about mythology in your books. They have the Wican gods, but the devil is also mentioned. The goddess and the devil are "secondary", not appearing "on the screen", but acting characters. But who is "real" in your fictional world? I would also like to know from whom Elizabeth and Tegan got their powers? From the goddess or from the devil?

Paula Brackston Hi Anna, well, that's a tricky one. Most of Elizabeth's magic was innate, as she had always been able to do certain things. Then she learned her hedgewitch craft from her mother. But of course, her immortality, and some of the power that went with it, came from Gideon. And he drew upon the very darkest of sources. Hope that helps!
