Like many readers, I have my genre preferences. As an entrenched Vorkosigan fan, I've not found as much attraction to fantasy. Year after year I see questions to you in the vein of "are you going to write more Vorkosigan books?" to which your boilerplate response is "Nothing is planned at this time." So, on behalf of my brothers and sisters of the Vorkosigan Community, can you PLEASE consider writing more? Please?
Lois McMaster Bujold
Well, nothing is planned at this time. It's the most honest answer I can give, apart from "No." Which would depress people unnecessarily, and beside might turn out not to be true if some random neuron fires in the unforeseen future and presents me with something that has to be a VK story and nothing else. (One hasn't fired yet.)
But I'm glad what I wrote in the past is still finding love in the present! (Or the future, from my point of view.)

Is there a listing somewhere that gives the Vokosigan Saga in the order it was published? I started reading the series on the recommendation of a co-worker, and the library provided Mirror Dance and Memory. Going forward from there I read them in publication order, but that's not very different from the internal chronology. I collected the earlier books over time, and read them as flashbacks.

Do the seasons of the Four Gods change at the Solstices and Equinoxes? Or do they change at the older (Celtic) "cross-quarter days"...which are still (mostly) celebrated in our calendar with Hallowe'en, Candlemas (Groundhog Day), May Day, and Lammas (about Aug 2)? The Celtic "seasons" align better with the weather than the modern ones. (If I haven't had snow before Dec. 21, there's something wrong!)
