Jerry Craft That is always an added bonus. So YES, anytime it can positively affect one of my readers, it is a blessing for me. If New Kid is the first book that a reluctant reader has ever finished on their own . . . Amazing. If one of my books has someone treat another person better, or encourages them to change a behavior that they now realize may have hurt someone's feelings . . . It makes it all worth it!
