Yes! It's with SpringHill Entertainment (LeBron James) and Universal Pictures. And directed by Prentice Penny. I am currently waiting to see the revision of the screenplay. But so far I really like it.

Depends on the age, but if you three books that I love are "With the Fire on Hi," and "The Poet X," by Elizabeth Acevedo and Renee Watson's " Piecing Me Together." I like them because they show kids of color in a positive light. And even though life isn't perfect, they do not focus on the misery alone. Also, "Black Boy Joy," which just came out.

I have no idea what the future has in store for me. BUT, if I think of an idea, and am confident that I can turn it into a great book, I will definitely give it a shot. The only think I don't particularly find interesting for me is historical fiction. Everything else is fair game. :)
