Hello Mr. Sands! My friend told me about "The Blackthorn Key" last year, but I only just picked it up and finished it. And I'm sorry I didn't get it sooner! How did you think up of all the plot twists?

As I’m plotting, I first work out how the book will end. Knowing where I’m going, then, is a big help in figuring out how to get there, because you can ask yourself what you can do to make it look like one thing is happening when it’s really something else underneath.

Hello, huge fan of "The Blackthorn Key" series Which of the 4 books currently out in the series did you enjoy writing the most? Also your books and the "Into the Dark" series by Bree DeSpain helped rekindle my love for reading, I would just like to also extend a thank you for such a compelling series and cannot wait for the next book in the series. I am also eager for the new book though, I trust it will be amazing.
