I am such a huge fan of your historical fiction books. I loved "Resistance" and I'm currently reading "Words On Fire". My question for you is, where do you get the ideas for what time period your book is in? If you have more than 1 idea, how do you choose?

Jennifer A. Nielsen Hi Suhanidatt - Thanks for this question! Yes, I do usually have multiple time periods in mind, but for all story ideas, I always listen to the idea that is loudest in my head at any given moment because I know that's where my passion for writing the project will be.

Most of your books I've read are first-person (and I love that, I can't find nearly enough where people write like that), do you find it more or less difficult than third-person? I'm trying to write something in first person, do you have any tips?
