Meredith asked Keith R.A. DeCandido:

As a reader, I prefer e-books; in recent years, most of my new book purchases have been electronic. As a writer, do you have a preference for how your work is published? The SCE series speaks to the marketability of an electronic-only release, so I imagine it's professionally equivalent. But on a personal level, are you as satisfied by bits and bytes as by something you can put on a shelf?

Keith R.A. DeCandido As a writer, I could give a good goddamn, as long as people are buying the books and reading the books, I don't care if it's hardcover, mass market, trade, eBook, or stone tablets.
