I'm wondering what the recommended age group is for this series. It's supposedly YA but I've seen it compared to everything from Twilight to Sookie Stackhouse. That's a BIG difference. Would these be appropriate for a young teenaged girl? Sex?

Lexie Stone I can only answer for the 1st book, but it's definitely more along the lines of Twilight than Sookie Stackhouse. It's probably perfect for young adult readers, but I expected much more from it with all the hype I kept seeing. I'm unsure if I want to keep reading the rest of the books, it's not a bad book, but I think it was intended for younger readers. There's no sex in this book.
Cindee Definitely NOT YA.
Kasey I've read all of them and I'm waiting for the 11th one, I would say it's YA. when there was an intimate page She didn't go into detail I would let my daughter read it when she gets older,
