Goodreads asked David Charles Brower:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

David Charles Brower It's an artform that enables the heart and head to dance, sometimes in unison, others in discord. While always in soulful harmony for in the expansiveness of written expression lies delicious nuances, a rainbow of ways of connecting words to describe perhaps something that you just couldn't say or express in any other way or medium.

And you get to make things up, or use allegory (like in my Dance of the Love Caterpillars) to get across through storytelling some profound messages from our souls.

And someone is going to read what you write, and gosh, they are going to have their own experience in synergy with the work, like a whole other dialogue and relationship for them to be enriched by, edutained by too, ideally.
