Fall in love with someone, or something in or about your life. And come from that feeling, and with that feeling, and in offering that feeling abundantly to others so they contagiously feel it too...you just want to share with them.

Start by writing about what you are the most passionate about in your life, no matter what that is. I'm clearly quite a romantic, and a lover of relationships and human transformation and transcendence. Maybe start with a short story if for some reason it's not flowing.
And get creative with either using dictation or handwriting, and go to places you feel good (outdoor cafe, oceanside, etc) and see if in that feeling, you can write about your greatest life's passions (a person, place, activity, a car, a food, a music....). And be kind to yourself when you reread it !

It's an artform that enables the heart and head to dance, sometimes in unison, others in discord. While always in soulful harmony for in the expansiveness of written expression lies delicious nuances, a rainbow of ways of connecting words to describe perhaps something that you just couldn't say or express in any other way or medium.
And you get to make things up, or use allegory (like in my Dance of the Love Caterpillars) to get across through storytelling some profound messages from our souls.
And someone is going to read what you write, and gosh, they are going to have their own experience in synergy with the work, like a whole other dialogue and relationship for them to be enriched by, edutained by too, ideally.

I lost the love of my life of 27 years to illness, and needed, wanted, to remind myself that life is abundant, serendipitous - anything can happen at any moment, good bad or ugly- and so I could have renewed resilient faith, and start again (and again...) in my desire to find Love...by trusting life, and being myself Love.
