Hi! I just want to start with how much I adored “If We Were Villains”! It’s my favorite book. I’m currently annotating it and rereading it! I was wondering if you have any new book in the works? I would immediately pick it up if you did!

I'm always working on something (I've written three other manuscripts since publishing IWWV). Unfortunately, however, my publisher wasn't interested in the new material--likely as it's been something of a departure from Villains--and we are at the mercy of the market. But hope springs eternal, and my agent and I are continually strategizing about what comes next.

Recently bought + just started reading 'If We Were Villains' and I'm so excited to continue reading! Anyways, I have a few questions. How do you come up with stories/where do you get your ideas? Also, how do you come up with characters? I have more questions, but I don't want to bother you with lots of questions right away, so I'll ask them another time :)

Hello! I just wanted to say I just finished your book & I absolutely adored it! It left me sobbing when I finished it (in a good way). I have two quick questions for you: Do you have a favorite & least favorite character in IWWV, & was the plot in the first draft for IWWV a lot different than the current story (different characters, setting, events, etc.)?
