Reading into the Void I’d definitely recommend this for you. Based on what you like, you’ll definitely like this book. The romance is very tame, nothing explicit. There is some violence during battles, but it’s not especially graphic. The other sensitive topics are that the main character discusses the recent loss of her mother and the sexual assault of an enslaved woman is mentioned—although the actual act and violence is not depicted at all.
