There are quite a few and then some coloured photographs in the middle. Some of the illustrations are made from the ink of the mushroom itself, so that is interesting to see.

Also, the pages are beautiful and the font is quite pleasing and larger than average. I have a paperback though, I'd say go for it!(less)
