Hello Jennifer Nielsen! I just finished reading the Mark of the Thief trilogy and I absolutely love it! One of the things I love about your writing is that you kind of use reverse dramatic irony; the character knows something the reader doesn't, like when Nic knew about his relations to Radulf. I was wondering, do you plan all three books out at once, or just go with it, because everything ends up coming together?

I always know the ending and the twists. Sometimes there are things that happen along the way that surprise me or that just seem to fit in at the moment, but there are definite markers within the plot that I know ahead of time.

Hello, Ms. Nielsen, I love your books and have been avidly reading and rereading them for the past 7 years! I just wanted to ask if you'd ever read The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner (and what do you think of it?), because the main character is very much like Sage, and some of the other characters are reminiscent of the ones in The Ascendance Series.
