Michael Greenhut My own guess is that it was actually Niles; I see more evidence to suggest that since Niles was supposed to be better at "The Game" than Holland, suggesting Holland wouldn't have the imagination to impersonate his brother. Seems like Niles was too empathic for his own good, to the point of going insane and becoming what he emulated. But I'm curious if this is the accepted view or not.
Amy I believe that it was Holland's name on the gravestone in the cemetery so that would indicate that Niles was assuming some of the personality characteristics of his dead twin.
