Nancy asked this question about Eddie's Boy (Butcher's Boy #4):
In a previous Butcher's Boy book, I don't remember which one because I just binged them all in preparation to read Eddie's Boy, Eddie dies of a heart attack. There's a whole flashback scene about it. Anyone else catch that change?
Lenore Yes, I noticed that. For that matter, in the first book, Elizabeth Waring was a data analyst with an MBA, whereas in subsequent books she's a lawyer. …moreYes, I noticed that. For that matter, in the first book, Elizabeth Waring was a data analyst with an MBA, whereas in subsequent books she's a lawyer. Furthermore, in Sleeping Dogs, Elizabeth lives in Alexandria, and in The Informant she's in McLean, but Michael remembers the house. And although I don't have the book before me, I think in Eddie's Boy she's still in the same house, although at the conclusion of The Informant she says she and her children are moving because the house holds such a terrifying memory for them. I'm not sure Perry re-reads his previous books (at least, not with attention to detail) before writing the sequels, but they're pretty great anyway.(less)
