Are any of your books based on a true story?

April Henry Many start with real-life news stories. Girl, Stolen; The Night She Disappeared; The Girl I Used to Be; Playing with Fire and the ones that come to mind. Even the books that are more made up, like Run, Hide, Fight Back, were researched so that the things inside the made up plot are accurate.
