Nicole asked Emily Croy Barker:

No offense intended whatsoever, but why release it as an audiobook first? Most of the time audiobooks come second to print versions. Just curious. I’ve been wanting to have this story for quite awhile and I prefer books to audiobooks. Anyway, I’m very excited to be able to read it! Thank you!

Emily Croy Barker My audiobook publisher, Recorded Books, has really believed in this book and supported it, just as they did with The Thinking Woman's Guide to Real Magic. Their production of the first novel was fantastic, so I was delighted when they decided to bring out How to Talk to a Goddess and Other Lessons in Real Magic as an audiobook original. A print/eBook edition is coming, but it's going to take a little more time. (Correcting proofs now!) Thanks for asking, and I hope you enjoy How to Talk to a Goddess in whichever format you read it!
