Hello, Kathleen, and thanks so much! Delighted to hear you connected with my O'Keeffe story. In addition to steeping myself in a handful of the usual biographies, the real find was stumbling on the correspondence between O'Keeffe and Maria Chabot, 1941-1949, published by University of New Mexico Press, 2003. Hello Paula, I just finished The Paris Wife.WOW. I love historical fiction and yours is outstanding, true characters and events... We visited the Key West house and there is a penny in the cement at the pool area, they said Ernest said his wife took every last penny.. now I wonder if that is true, and was it Pauline ? will you write a book on Pauline ? Hadley had my heart. Love the way you write!
