The best thing about being a writer is that I don't have to answer to anyone but myself. I can also write whatever-the-heck I want. If someone tells me "No one will ever read that", I do it anyway. The whole process of crafting a new world and putting your heart and soul into its characters is a feeling unlike any other. I can proudly sit back and say "That's mine. I did that." And few people can do that.
