Accept that your first draft will be terrible and keep writing anyway. So many times we give up because the words on the page don't match the vision for the story that's in our heads. Don't give up then, just keep putting words on page.
You can always go back and revise, but you can't rewrite something you haven't written, so let that first draft be a steaming hot mess of words, and then rewrite again and again until they have become art.
