Who is "you" referring to in the book?

Reader1442 "You" is referring to the killer. This is because when Cassie and Dean are profiling, they are taught to use pronouns like "you" or "I" when referring to the killer so they can really get into the killer's mind. So, the "you" parts throughout the book goes into the killer's POV.
