I have watched all the Harry Potter films loads of times and I love them but is it worth it reading the books if I know what is going to happen?

You might think you know because you've read the books, but that's like seeing the shadow of what's happening rather than seeing the actual THING in living color. You get a general idea, but you don't see where one thing starts and another begins with a shadow. That's how it is with the Wizarding World in the movies. In the books, you get so much more ~ very rich detail.(less)
