Barbara O'Neal I will answer. :) I don't know where books come from. That's the honest truth. I open a window and look through it, and there's a movie, and my job is to get it down as clearly as possible. I mean, there's a lot of work and lots of years of working on the craft, but the ideas themselves are mysterious. Good question!

I just finished reading All You Can Dream Buffet. Thank you for Ruby. I'm a survivor of childhood leukemia and was diagnosed when I was in first grade - age 6. I've never had someone address survivor guilt with childhood cancer. What made you include this in our book?
