I must admit I don't remember as much as I'd like from Tidelands, but I don't want to re-read. Do we know whose children the twins are- Alinor, Alys, or both? I'm in the middle of this book and can't figure out if I should know this.

They do not want James around so he is told his child died but I do not feel we know for sure and if one child is his is it Johnnie? James seems to dismiss Sarah as having any resemblance to him.
