Read good writing, regardless of the genre, and write, obviously. Read fiction and nonfiction, and there are plenty of good writing books that will help you learn how to craft better fiction. And if you know that grammar isn't your strong suit, by all means read some grammar books. There are several entertaining ones, such as "Woe Is I."
