Never give up! I know it's a cliche but it's a cliche for a reason. There have been so many points where I've wanted to stop writing because I worried what I was doing wasn't good enough (I have a whole abandoned book in a file on my computer somewhere but that's - quite literally - another story!). Keep going because the more you write the better you get.
