Nenia Campbell:
How would you rank the most evil characters you've written in regards to their evilness? How do they compare to each other?

(view spoiler)[I love this question!! :D I think it's a little tough to answer because several of my villain heroes have redemption ARCs and a couple of them... don't. I'll actually rate my human (human-like) heroes separate from the vampires since I intentionally wrote the vampires with their own morality.
WARNING: Some spoilers!
HUMANS (and WITCH BOIS)
1. Gavin Mecozzi from Horrorscape, definitely the worst. Irredeemable. Full-fledged psychopath. Run.
2. Phineas "Finn" Riordan from Shadow Thane, starts off as a solid villain and ends up as an antihero. He's problematic as hell for sooo many reasons. High-functioning sociopath with some empathy, but he melts people's arms off with fire magic when he gets angry.
3. Michael Boutilier from the IMA, starts off as a villain ends up as an alpha love interest. Has more empathy than he would probably admit, but he's a contract killer and has done terrible things.
4. Catan Vareth from Endgame, probably my least objectionable leading man that I've ever written. I forget he exists until my friend Heather reminds me lol.
MY VAMPIRE BOIS
1. Corbin Liandrall from Blood Bonds, operates on a scale of morality entirely separate from humans. Thinks he's Mr. Compassion even though he keeps human slaves. Very problematic and very scary. 1/10
2. James Beziat from Through a Glass, Darkly, basically what would happen if a Mad Men guy became a vampire. 1950s smooth-talker, with very problematic views towards women. Somewhat redeemable. Maybe.
3. David Tran from Shadow Thane, secondary love interest and #1 vampire soft boi. Who doesn't love a caring alpha who's angsty and broody AF and just a bit dangerous in the bedroom? After Catan, he's probably the least dangerous of all my heroes. (hide spoiler)]
