Hello i just started to read spooks apprentice and i have to say it is an amazing combination of writing and magic stored in 1 book ( i have only red one so far ) my first question is what inspired you to write spooks apprentice and will you keep continuing the wardstone chronicles last question what did you think of the movie seventh son ? sincerely

Joseph Delaney I got the idea for Spooks Apprentice when I moved to a village in Lancashire and found out there was a local boggart. I made a note in my notebook ' a man who hunts boggarts' and years later developed the story further. I thought the film was disappointing and drifted too far from the book but having recently watched the trailer I thought at a purely entertainment level it was ok. best wishes

Dear Mr. Delaney Vaccinations are progressing a little by now, I'm carefully starting to make plans for holidays. We would like to visit the locations mentioned in your books! My list so far is: Preston, Lancaster, Morecambe Bay, Anglezarke moor, Pendle hill & surrounding witch villages, Chipping, Kersal (is abbey real?), lancaster canal. Is there anything I'm missing?
