Dear Mr. Delaney Vaccinations are progressing a little by now, I'm carefully starting to make plans for holidays. We would like to visit the locations mentioned in your books! My list so far is: Preston, Lancaster, Morecambe Bay, Anglezarke moor, Pendle hill & surrounding witch villages, Chipping, Kersal (is abbey real?), lancaster canal. Is there anything I'm missing? Joseph Delaney Yes also a visit to the Lancaster Canal would be good but the marsh mill does not exist. Visit the Water Witch pub in Lancaster for lunch. It is on the canal and gave me the idea for that type of witch! Neither, as far as I know, are there any remains of Kersal Abbey. Not sure if it ever was an abbey but certainly there was some sort of church building. On Anglezarke Moor the best place to aim for is ‘The Round Loaf’. But the area can be boggy after rain.
