Why are 50% of the reviews from the past couple of days less than three stars, yet this book has an overall rating of 4.31 stars? Is this book a magnet for paid-for reviews while those who spend their hard-earned money on it don't like it?

I didn't think the writing was anything special, but I truly enjoyed it! It was narrated by Carey Mulligan, so I'm not sure if it was her performance that I loved so much or if it was just a nice easy break from my normal heavier reads. (I do have a tendency to rate pretty high on here, but this is one that I would re-listen to again).(less)
