Sabine
Sabine asked Christine Feehan:

I love your Dark series but can never find the older books, other than at radicicolous prices. Are you considering a reprint in Hardcover?

Christine Feehan I have no control over that. I write the books, give them to the publisher and other than letting readers know about the books and promoting them I'm done. I don't self publish. The publishing end is done by Avon or Berkley.
Avon has the rights to the early Dark books. They got them when Dorchester, my original publisher, went out of business. They did do a hardcover for Dark Prince since we put an additional 100 pages back into that story after it was cut by Dorchester in the original. Other than that, Avon has updated many of the covers, but have not released them in hardcover.
The hard bound books you're seeing at those crazy prices (I've seen them too and even I won't pay that for my own books!) are actually large print editions. They're a special large print version, also called a library edition.
