This is my first book from Dean Koontz. Decided to listen to the audio book when I saw the ratings of it. 4.14 is quite a lot on here so I thought OK, let's do Mr. Koontz now. Three hours in and I thought this was one of the worst things I have ever read(listened to). Is this his style in general? Am I not getting something here?

The most recent books all seem to have recurring themes, and I'm tiring of his constant hatred of science and his devotion to conspiracy theories about science. It's beyond strange why an author would waste so much time on this theme is so many books.(less)
