First of all, I really appreciate your concern for the LGBTQ+ community. I think it is really great to have an author I admire so much be so cool and supportive. But, I came to ask a question so anyway, why did early attunements give people mana poisoning? because from my understanding (which obviously is inferior to yours since you wrote it) attunements just let the body use mana on its own.

You're welcome.
I'm going to get into more of the details about the internal workings of attunements over the next few books and I'd rather not spoil too much. In brief, though, it's much more complicated than "attunements let the body use mana". You'll get some pieces of that in AA3.

Hello Andrew, just going through the book "Sufficiently Advanced Magic" on audio after driving from Arizona to Southern California. My Camera-Man ( his sister reviews books) had me listening to it through the drive and I just wanted to say the book was excellent. If you're interested in some kind of review or media I think it would be super cool to have my friends sister work with you in some fashion? Let us know U.G.

When Corwen Cadence gets the arbiter attunement he mentions that he still is not getting even one point of mana into his mana stones. So I am curious how much mana is normally in each class of stone and are Corwens stones so weak because he just doesn't have the practice to push more into the stones but he can make a bunch of stones before he has to rest or is the process just really inefficient?
