The Bane is plunged back into the dark and like most of its denizens has no easy way back to the earth of humans. Even the Fiend struggled to stay on Earth and had to be summoned by living witches. In my latest Brother Wulf books the evil goddess Circe also struggles to reach the human world and must make do with an underworld. But as time moves on the Bane will gradually become stronger - so maybe there could be a rematch!
