A note on using the Q&A in work-around attempts to send me private messages... (?)

Short request is, Don't, but more helpfully, any Goodreads member whom I have friended can use the GR private messaging system to send email within the system. The trick, it turns out, is that one must have been friended to make the address box populate. This isn't hard to achieve, since I friend pretty much anyone who asks, there being too many to vet.
If you feel you must use the Q&A for this off-label purpose, please make it clear the message is not meant to be publicly posted, and be aware I have no way of answering.

For people starting to follow your work in the 80s, would they have been able to read Aftermaths in the Far Frontiers publication before Shards of Honor was officially published? I'm about to dive into your work and am entertaining the idea of starting with Aftermaths, but only if the above is true.

I can understand you not wanting to write another book. I was rereading Brother in Arms and Mirror Dance; seems they would have been intense. And all your newer books are full sized. Have you thought about a series of short stories or novellas to continue the Miles universe? A little Miles, a little Simon or Alys, a little Cordelia, a little Ivan, a little Gregor? Or even focus on little stories about their children?

On your book tour for Cryoburn (I think), you did a reading from something you were working on at the time. It involved Enrique and the edges of the radioactive zones near Vorkosigan Vashnoi. I haven't encountered this snippet, or anything even remotely like it, in anything you've published since. Did anything ever come of that story? Is it likely to? (Please say yes!)
