Yes. This is effectively a single 12,000 page book. There's a huge amount of interdependence and build up, and that's part of the brilliance. Yes, it's hard to keep track of it all and likely requires multiple reads to catch everything, but it's worth it.

In 2015 read the first 3 books and they were sometimes ok. Now quarantined by Coronavirus I'm going to get the very last book and read it to find out how the story progresses to its end. I'm sure AMOL gives adequate clues as to what happened in books 4-13. :)
