Hi. Just finished Heaven's River and a question was nagging me throughout the book. Forgive me if this has already been asked and answered. How close is Bob to your own personality? Do you often make geek references? Does your love of Star Trek run that deep? Thanks for the books. They are a blast to read/listen to.

Bob has a stronger case of referencitis than I do. It started out as a couple of throwaway jokes and turned into a theme.
I am like Bob in the broad strokes, although I think he may be a bit of a Gary Stu character.

Dennis, the Sagan response to the fermi paradox states that aliens of sufficient technological level will destroy all Von Neumann probes when detected because of the threat of them consuming all resources as they multiply. Any plans to explore this? Also with all the strange alien disclosure going on and people questioning what reality is in the first place will we get some bobs exploring other universes?
